About Our Logo

They are several symbols to our logo:

CrossWe are first and foremost a congregation that is center on the cross of Jesus. Everything in history and our theology flows from Jesus' work on the cross.

“CP”Connected to the cross are green swoops that are in the shape of a "C" and "P" which represent Christ Presbyterian.

TreeThe whole of the logo is in the shape of a tree which is rooted in the cross. Jesus is the vine (root) and we are His branches connected to the Tree of Life.  John 15:5 (ESV) I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, 5 he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Chi RhoThe Cross and the “P” form the Greek letters Chi and Rho which is the first two letters in “Christ” and the historic symbol for Christ.

SickleLastly, the "C" and the cross form a sickle, which is a tool to harvest God's wheat; a reminder of our primary task of proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to the world.
