During the Fall 2021 semester, we saw God not only grow our community but also deepen the commitments of those who were already following Jesus. We planted two new club chapters. One at Westfield State and the other at Holyoke Community College. We also started the process to become a recognized club at a third campus. We currently have 5 Alpha groups running with 1-2 student leaders at each. Alpha is a small group that is invitational towards those who are exploring the Christian faith and have questions. At one of our small groups, a student named Liam began attending. Every week Liam asks thoughtful questions about what it means to follow Jesus. Towards the end of the semester, he started reading his bible! God is reaching students like Liam all across our area! One of our leaders, Sarah, began to be more open about her faith with her friends. At least 6 students have come to Alpha because of an invitation that Sarah made to them.
